SHORT STORY FEEDBACK
We are always in awe of the level of talent that writers who submit to us have. And the one thing that has been consistent, is how eager the contributors are to receive feedback on their work.
Oratoria is run by writers and editors, so we are well aware of what a struggle it is to understand how we can improve our work and where are work stands compared to the market.
Our editors are now taking limited submissions to provide developmental edits and appraisal to flash fiction and short stories, from 1,500 up to 8,000 words. These will be independent to the pieces that are considered for publication in the magazine, and available for a small fee of £15. All appraisals and edits will be sent out January-February 2026.
If you want to submit for publication, please see the other open calls above.
We accept all submissions via email only. Please email your work to oratoriamag@gmail.com.
We are unable to accept translations or works in languages other than English.
All writers should be 18 years of age or above.
Since the number of submissions we can accept is limited to 5 per session, it will be first come first serve.
